Shipping & U.S. Customs Requirements

  1. Importer Security Filing (ISF):
    Completion of the ISF Submission Form is MANDATORY for ALL ocean shipments. This worksheet MUST be accurately completed and sent to the Expeditors ISF mailbox - goodyearisf@expeditors.com no later than 96 hours prior to vessel cut off.

  2. Customs Instructions for Suppliers:
    Instructions for suppliers on what is necessary for their products to clear U.S. Customs & Border Protection with minimal difficulty and delay. Within these instructions are referenced several Appendices.

  3. Commercial Invoice:
    This is a form of invoice that suppliers may use in the event their own invoice does not include all of the information required.

  4. ISPM 15 Solid Wood Packaging Update:
    This publication offers guidance to suppliers on procedures required by U.S. Customs & Border Protection relative to wood packaging material

  5. Fabric Detail Worksheet:
    This document is to be completed when a supplier is shipping fabric into the United States. The questions asked will allow the broker to correctly classify the fabric, which is critical.

  6. Goodyear Material Detail Sheet:
    This form can be completed to assist the supplier with providing added information. It is not mandatory.

  7. Informed Compliance Publication:
    The Informed Compliance Publication from U.S. Customs & Border Protection web site entitled What Every Member of the Trade Community Should Know About: Fibers and Yarns: Construction and Classification Under the HTSUS will hopefully assist suppliers of fabric in understanding the requirements they must adhere to.

  8. Single/Multiple Country Declaration:
    This form is provided in the event the product or products being shipped into the United States by the supplier were produced in multiple countries.

  9. TSCA Certification:
    This form is required if the product is subject to controls under the Toxic Substances Control Act.

  10. Preparation of NAFTA Certificate:
    Instructions for the preparation of NAFTA Certificates are provided as a guide for suppliers.

  11. NAFTA Certificate:
    A blank NAFTA Certificate is provided for the supplier to complete.

  12. C-TPAT Survey & Security Profile Checklist:
    This checklist should be completed as part of Goodyear’s commitment to U.S. Customs & Border Protection as it pertains to our participation in C-TPAT.

  13. Expeditors' Import to USA Shipping Instructions
